Over the past decade, training has become a key part of the Wardlaw experience.
What began as a series of two or three-day courses created in the late 1990s for
a major client has grown into a dedicated training program established in 2004.
On word-of-mouth advertising alone, our training has proven quite successful—so
much so that we outgrew our original offsite training facility. We decided to build one of
our own, onsite, and in February of 2008, we moved into the Wardlaw Training Campus.
Yes, that’s right—we built an entire campus. At
43,000 sq. feet, there is nothing quite like it in
the industry.
Let’s take a quick tour:
Insurance adjusters can’t process catastrophic
claims without reliable systems. Our data center
can withstand any storm, and features state-ofthe-
art fire suppression, redundant systems, and
eight-inch thick concrete walls and ceiling.
Our auditorium, Hurricane Hall seats up to 400 for large classes and conferences.
Up to 15 vehicles fit into our auto lab, where hydraulic lifts enable students to fully
assess damage.
One of our three large classrooms is a dedicated computer lab, with 70 PCs loaded
with industry-standard software.
An onsite communications center, able to accommodate 70 agents, enables us to
provide Fast Track Adjusting and call center services.
A full-scale, 1,200 sq. foot cutaway house, constructed inside our spacious
property lab and featuring two bedrooms and one bathroom, provides students with
real-world property adjusting experience.
Our administrative offices include our management team’s situation room during
catastrophic events, providing centralized, well-orchestrated management and field
response no matter how large the catastrophe.
Of course, an excellent training campus is only as good as the courses taught within
its walls. Wardlaw believes training will be the cornerstone of the adjusting industry
for years to come, so we offer year-round classes to give students practical, hands-on
instruction—and to give us a chance to hand-pick the best to staff the Wardlaw team.
